One dead in Oakland shooting OAKLAND — A 36-year-old man was fatally shot on Saturday morning while pumping gas at a Valero station in the Millsmont neighborhood, authorities said.The killing, which appeared to be targeted, happened about 11:20 a.m. at 5910 MacArthur Blvd, near the intersection of Seminary Avenue near Mills College.Police said the victim, who has not been named, had been sitting in a car at the pump for several minutes before someone walked up to the vehicle and begin shooting.Police did not announce a motive for the shooting.  No arrests have been made.The killing is the 41th homicide investigated by Oakland police this year. 2 SF women arrested after $50K worth of merch stolen from Santa Rosa Sunglasses Hut: police (KRON) -- Two women were arrested in connection to a theft at a Sunglasses Hut last week, the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) announced Saturday. On May 18, six women and one man allegedly stole $50,000 worth of merchandise from the store at 1061 Santa Rosa Plaza.The group ran away from the shopping mall in two separate vehicles, but one of those cars later crashed and was towed by police, according to SRPD. All seven of the suspects were still able to escape despite the crash.
